Deer Creek Glist and Glint and Baitfish Fibers

Salt Water hook size 4/0 and 2/0

Hard wire spine 108lbs

Deer Creek Gator Eyez

Mylar tube - small

Deer Creel Diamond flex

Flexi Cord - Large

Step by step picture tying instruction:

Prepare the thread base.. tie in the GnG

Put in the 1st section of hard wire spine

Insert the Mylar tube

Tie in the GnG just next to the eye of the spine

Fold the fibers back and wide down... tie down, apply small amount of Diamond Flex to fixed the shape

 Put in the 2nd spine section

 In sert the Mylar tube

 Tie in the GnG fiber... the quantity of the fibers have to be 50% more than the 1st section

 Tie down the fibers

 Repeat as earlier step, fold back ... wind down and tie down the shape it

 Put in the connection spine

 Tie in the GnG fibers ... at least 50% more than the 2nd section

 Insert the large flexi cord 

 Fold the Flexi cord over 

 Tie in the Baitfish Fibers

 Trim the fibers

 Fold the fiber over and wind down

Put up a pair of Gator Eyez, then coat the head with some Diamond Flex UV resin

By playing with different color... you can easily create different minnow or baitfish pattern.

Step by step tying instructions:

wind in some lead wire, then tie in some ICE dubbing

Tie in some red ICE ( optional - for injury baitfish )

Tie in some UV flashabou

Tie in some Silver ICE

Same technique as the old GnG Hollow Baitfish... tie in some GnG in white colour

Tie in the Lateral line

Tie in GnG in olive and brown

Shape the head with Diamond Fine Flex, dry it with UV light

Put on the eye... 

Done..

Tying a Fused Body Foam Cicada X

Material List :

3mm Thk closecell foam

Gamakatsu B10S size 4

Bead mono eye

Flashabou by Deer Creek

Rubber legs

Step by step tying instructions:

Cut 3mm foam about 4cm 

Cut out the body shape

Used lighter, fused the edge of the foam, press down while it's still hot..fusing both foam together

Tie down the tail portion

Color the foam body

Put in the hook

Cut a small pcs of foam

Tie down the hook, apply some super glue

Bring the foam body forward, tie down

Tie in a pair of rubber legs

Cut the rubber and you get the 6 legs

Tie down the bottom pcs of foam, drop a small drop of super glue

tie in some flashabou ( I use Deer Creek's products as it's the hardest flashabou the won't collapse )

Drop a small drop of Deer Creek Diamond Fine Flex to the flashabou so the material stay together like a wing

Cut another 2mm thks foam as thorax

Tie in the foam

Tie down the bead mono eye

Fold the foam over and tie down... whip finish

Color the thorax and head

Done...

Nymph hook #10 - #8

Ostrich Marabou

Wonder Wrap - Olive and Chartreuse

Burn Mono eye

Dubbing and Surgical tape

DC Micro Velvet Rope - Olive

Step by step tying instruction:

 Wind in some lead wire, tie i the eye

Tie in the Ostrich Marabou tail

Tie in the wonder wrap, use the surgical tape to taper the body

Wind in the Wonder Wrap to create the abdomen

Tie in the rubber legs

Roll in some dubbing and tie in the Micro velvet rope...

drop a small drop of DC Diamond Fine Flex at the tail to split the marabou tails..

Rop a small drop of DC Diamond Fine Flex resin at the thorax to secure the the velvet rope.
