Foamular of Foam Draganfly Nymph

Foam Dragonfly Nymph

Material:
Hool - Gamalatsu S11-4L size 6
Body - 2mm Thick Close cell foam
Wing - Tape Wing
Legs - Knob Turkey Wing fiber
Thorax - Thin Foam sheet
Eye - Loon Hard Head

Step by step tying instruction:

Cut the foam to shape and mark the segment, cut the segment

Bend the hook, hook though the foam and tie in the inner body with foam to create the taper and shape

Tie down the bottom layer follow the segment

Tie the top layer follow the segment

Fold the foam over and tie the eye in figure 8 technique

Colour the foam with marker and tie in the knob fiber legs

Dub with dubbing to split the leg. Tie down the tape wing

Tie in the thin foam sheet as thorax

Fold over the foam, tie down, whip finish and colour the thorax. Drop in the Loon hard head as the eye

Foamular of BB Mice

BB Mice
The pattern name after Bass_Bug, as this pattern was inspired by him

Material:
 
Hook - Gamakatsu B10S size 1
Tail - Rubber tail
Legs - Knob rubber leg tie from slides of latex sheet
Body - 2mm thick foam, dubbing
Eye - craft eye

Step by step tying instruction

Bend the hook, tie in the rubber tail

Wrap the balance of rubber to hook for additional weight

Tie in the foam

Tie in the rubber legs, prepare a dubbing loop and put in the dub

Dub the under body, stop at the mid point of the hook

Tie down the foam and add the pair of ears

Continue the dubbing and finish near the hook eye, tie down the foam

Trim the foam

Glue the craft eye and colour the mice with marker

Foamular of the Foam Hopper V2

Foam Hopper V2

Material:
Hook - Gamakatsu B10S size 6
Body - 2mm Thick Close cell foam
Eye - Loon Hard Head
Legs - Green Pheasant Tail knob legs, Rubber Legs
Antenna- Pheasant Tail fiber
Wing - Flashabou, Elk Hair, Tape wing
Thorax - 1mm thick close cell foam
Belly - Dubbing

Step by step tying instructions:

Tie the foam to a needle to create the hopper's abdomen

Tie down the bottom portion of the abdomen

Tie down the top portion of abdomen

Tie the abdomen to the hook and continue tying the bottom portion of abdomen

Tie down the top portion of abdomen, keep some space for the head and colour the abdomen with marker

Fold the head over the hook eye, tie down and fold it over again to the top, tie down

Pull in the antenna using a needle, tie down. Tie in the flashabou

Tie in the Elk hair and the Pheasant tail knob legs

Tie in the rubber legs, dubbing to split the legs, tie down the rest of the 2mm foam

Tie in the tape wing and a 1mm thks close cell foam

Finish the thorax and trim the foam, colour the thorax with marker, drop a small drop of black Loon hard head as eye

Hopper is ready to fish

Shrimp X tying instruction

Shrimp X

Material:
Hook - Gamakatsu 
Shell - Furry foam
Eye - Epoxy burn mono eye
Dubbibd - Pink and brown dub
Legs - 1 pair or knob biot leg and mini rubber legs
Pheasant tail fiber, Flashabou and bead chain

Step by step tying instruction:

Tie in the bead chain

Tie in the Pheasant tail fiber, Flashabou and pink dubbing

Tie in the foam and a pair of knob biot leg

Tie down the rubber legs

Tie in the eye and dub in the brown dubbing

Fold over the furry foam and tie down

Trim the tail and the Shrimp X is ready




Furry Crab Fly Tying Instruction

Material: 
Hook - Gamakatsu 
Shell - Furry foam
Eye - Bead eye
Pincers - Knob hackle left / right
Leg - Knob biot leg
Base - Roll lead plate
Fin - CDC

Step by step tying instruction

Cut the Furry foam to the shape and tie down to the hook

Tie in 8 nos of knob biot legs

Tie in the bead eye

Tie in the CDC as the fin

Tie in the pincer

Fold over the furry foam and tie down to the hook

Glue in the lead base and colour it with marker

Furry Crab fly is ready fish
